Quran's Stance on Smoking

Quran does not address the issue of smoking at all. The reason it is referred to as undesirable by scholars is because of the ill effects it leaves on the smoker as well as those around them. This conclusion can be derived without going through any religious reasoning at all, and one should take care of their health and of those around them.

Once you arrive at this result, it would be considered undesirable to continue something that has such negative effects – as a result, it is recommended that one stay away from it if possible.
