Basis for Believing Prophet Was Created From Light

Question

If God didn't create Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) with His noor (light) then how it's possible he had direct conversation with God?

When God revealed less than one percent of his Tajjali (radiance) to prophet Moses, he became unconscious and the mountain got burnt.

I believe God has created Prophet Muhammad with his noor. Otherwise it was not possible to have direct conversation with Allah subhan Talla.

Response

Quran has explicitly mentioned that God talked directly with Prophet Moses (pbuh). For instance:

And when [Moses] came to it, he was called from the right side of the valley, in the blessed spot, from the tree, 'O Moses, I am God, the Lord of the world. Throw down your staff… (Quran 28:30-31)

That means that Prophet Moses (pbuh) must also have been created from light. But how can one believe or arrive at the conclusion that any of the prophets had been created from light when Quran does not make any reference to that? Wouldn’t that be akin to creating a belief and then just finding reasoning to believe in it? In fact, our beliefs should be created based on strong reasoning that we believe to be coming from God Almighty.

> Otherwise it was not possible to have direct conversation with Allah subhan Talla.

I request you to bring forth evidence from Quran for this. The reasoning that you have provided is not valid because you have yourself seem to have concluded that anyone who has not been created from light would not be able to converse with God. There is no basis for your deduction however. Why can’t God choose to talk to anyone He likes if He Himself has said that He conversed with Prophet Moses (pbuh)?

Lastly, do you have any evidence that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) conversed with God? If not, then that is yet another belief that you need to challenge and find reasoning for, or change.

Brother, our faith should not be based on what we have learnt or been told about religion. We learn a lot in our childhood about religion – and our belief tends to be based on what we were told the first time. If someone had told you that Prophet is not noor and you had not believed in it throughout your life, then you would be fine.

My request to you brother, is to base your beliefs on Quran. There is no belief in Islam that is not mentioned in the Quran. If you are not already studying Quran with translation, then I request that you start doing that. You can read an article I wrote previously on the importance of reading Quran.
