My Philosophy: Three Categories of People

Assalamu Alaykum (May peace be upon you)

This webpage presents my expression of God's mercy upon mankind.

I personally believe that people are generally divided into three broad categories with respect to learning: Those who believe that either they know everything, or what they know is the only correct thing; those who know that they are unaware of certain facts, but they will not make an effort to discover those facts; and lastly, people who understand they are ignorant about a few things, but they honestly and objectively make an effort to find the reality and live by it.

The above categorization of attitudes is independent of one's belief, or lack thereof, in God or God's religions. However, the result that one arrives at is only important if the approach taken to arrive at it is itself correct.

In such a study, like any other study in the World, one must have honest intentions to find the Truth, which must be free from all kinds of biases. That is the best approach and one must then follow the path it leads to.
